The brief was straightforward and specific: enough storage for two children who'd only get more of everything as they grew, and a room that felt playful without being loud.

A custom wardrobe anchors one wall, its pale grey oblong inserts paired with handmade wooden semi-circular handles, storage running all the way to the ceiling for things used only occasionally. Opposite it, a cot corner is built around a pinewood pegboard fitted with a rotating set of attachments, softened by hand-embroidered linen curtains layered over sheer.

A second wall carries the rest of the storage — bins for toys and everyday knick-knacks, alongside more of the pegboard system, so tidying stays simple as the twins grow into the space. A single blue accent chair in the corner is the room's one deliberate note of colour, set against daylight pouring in through the window.
