This 745-square-foot office on Carter Road, Bandra, was designed for one of India's top wedding design companies — a young founder with a young team, and a personal style loud enough to fill every inch of it. You walk straight into the main conference room, where a hot pink sofa sits against a large window that floods the room with sunlight and overlooks Carter Road, directly in front of a wall of open shelving stacked with books, memorabilia and decor that reads more like a life collected than a room styled. Maximalism runs through the space deliberately — layered colour, quirky and mismatched decor, and a mural of foliage that carries her love of greenery up the walls, with a monkey worked in wherever you look, never quite where you expect it.

The two work rooms, built to seat 12 to 15 people between them, keep the same unapologetic energy — a block-print ceiling in one, jewel-toned desks and gallery walls of art in the other — without losing the function a working studio needs. A full pantry, with a kitchen counter, fridge, microwave and a wall-mounted table for meals, rounds the office out, making it feel less like a workplace and more like a second home for the people in it.
